Buenilum Aluminum was created in the 1950's by a company named Buehner-Wanner. Frederick Buehner was a metal smith and industrial designer who emigrated from Germany in 1929 became business partners with Franz Wanner in 1930. It was produced from the 1930s through the 1960s when the the company was sold to Pfaltzgraff in 1969.
